Belgian Design on the International Stage

In October 2025, Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium selected several Katerin Theys designs to wear during the Belgian Economic Mission to San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The appearance marked an important milestone for the brand, bringing Katerin Theys’ distinctive blend of European craftsmanship and Asian influences to an international audience. Throughout the mission, Princess Astrid wore multiple pieces from the collection, highlighting the brand’s signature approach to silhouette, storytelling, and cultural dialogue.

The connection began earlier that year when members of the Belgian delegation encountered Katerin Theys designs during Expo 2025 Osaka. Following a visit to the Katerin Theys showroom in Belgium, pieces were selected for the mission wardrobe.
