Hong Kong has played an important role in the evolution of the Katerin Theys brand. In 2023, the designer presented her work at PMQ, one of Hong Kong’s most recognized creative hubs and a destination known for supporting independent designers, artists, and makers.

The exhibition provided visitors with an opportunity to experience the collection beyond the traditional retail environment. Garments were presented as objects of design, highlighting the architectural thinking, craftsmanship, and storytelling that define the brand.

As both a fashion designer and trained interior architect, Katerin approaches clothing through the lens of form, proportion, and spatial relationships. Her silhouettes are designed to move with the body while maintaining structure and presence, creating pieces that feel both contemporary and timeless.

The PMQ exhibition also reflected the cultural dialogue that sits at the heart of the brand. Drawing inspiration from life between Belgium and Asia, the collection explored the intersection of heritage, travel, craftsmanship, and modern design.
